Hillery Stone is a 2025 Elizabeth George Foundation Grant recipient. Her essays and poems have appeared in The New York Times, Guernica, Electric Lit, Prairie Schooner, the Academy of American Poets, and the Beloit Poetry Journal, where she was a 2019 Adrienne Rich Award winner. She taught in the Expository Writing Program at New York University for ten years, has taught summer classes at the Center for Fiction, and currently teaches in the English Department at Baruch College, where she was a 2024 recipient of the Barbara Reich Gluck Teaching Excellence Award and a speaker at the 2025 TEDxCUNY conference.

She has just finished a memoir.
